More info... The Loudoun County Department of Animal Care and Control last night seized 48 horses from a Middleburg farm, alleging the animals were found to be in varying stages of neglect.
No people or horses were injured in a fire at Virginia Intermont College's riding center (Bristol Herald Courier) BRISTOL, Va. No horses or people were injured in a Wednesday morning blaze at the Virginia Intermont College riding center. The fire apparently broke out just after 8 a.m. in a storage shed adjacent to one of the horse barns, said farm Manager Anna Gondo.
